Founded in mid-2006 by three professionals from the sector, Surmeyca S.L. It is formed by professionals with more than 25 years of experience in the areas of boilermaking, welding and industrial and naval mechanics.
We put at the service of our clients an average staff of 60 employees between specialized operators and technicians, up to a maximum of 90, with a wide knowledge of the world of the industry and specific training for the use of equipment and tools; as well as our infrastructure and machinery, in continuous process of adaptation to new technologies, which allows us to carry out industrial and naval projects of national and international scope, in the shortest periods and with the highest level of quality, always with the objective to meet your demands.
We are located in the Campo de Gibraltar, an area that includes a large number of important industrial centers, where a large number of ships of all kinds dock at any of the various ports in the area, such as Algeciras, one of the main ports globally both in extension and in freight traffic. This situation allows us a total availability and an immediate response time.
We are certified by BUREAU VERITAS in Quality according to ISO 9001, Environmental Management according to ISO 1400.
We are pioneers in the region when we certify ourselves in Health and Safety at work according to the OHSAS 18001 standard
Our welders, all with extensive experience, have been qualified in the welding process WPAR and GTAW / SMAW for pipes by Cualicontrol, and our workshop has been certified by GERMANISCHER LLOYD in welding and assembly of structural sheet metal.
We also have a Civil Liability Insurance (Allianz) adjusted to the current market requirements, with a coverage of € 1,200,000 before any eventuality.
Since 2013, in addition, we put at your service our new facilities in the Industrial Park of Guadarranque, with a total of 1,600 square meters. This new workshop is equipped with two overhead cranes up to 10 TN, which allows us to carry out large-scale works. This project has received funding from the Ministry of Industry, Energy and Tourism, within the Aid Program for Reindustrialization actions.
Surmeyca SL has received an incentive from the Agency for Innovation and Development of Andalusia IDEA, from the Junta de Andalucía, for an amount of € 53,937.00, co-financed by 80% by the European Union through the FEDER Development Fund for the realization of the project “Acquisition of machinery for diversification of service portfolio” with the objective of:
